The Swimming Anemone has the ability to escape its prey, including leather stars, by detaching itself from the substrate and swimming away. We may be using the term swimming loosely, as the motion is more of a gyration over a short distance. The Swimming Anemone has orange and white banded tentacles with an orange base.
