Red Flabellina feed are reliant on their relationship with hydroids, not only eating them, but using them for spawning. They are commonly found in the intertidal to subtidal zones. Their red and white tipped cerata are similar to that of the Three-Lined Nudibranch, however the Red Flabellina is mostly covered by them.
